Duxbury Networking Unveils CEL-FI GO G43 Signal Booster to Enhance Mobile Connectivity in Retail

Author: Aayushya Ranjan

Duxbury Networking, the exclusive distributor of Nextivity products in South Africa, has announced the availability of the CEL-FI GO G43 smart mobile signal booster. This innovative product, ideal for the retail and fast-food sectors, is available locally to support businesses in enhancing mobile connectivity for customers, staff, and operational needs.

The CEL-FI GO G43 effectively tackles connectivity challenges across diverse retail environments, from small shops to expansive warehouses, complementing the capabilities of the CEL-FI QUATRA 4000e Active DAS Hybrid system. It offers a streamlined, cost-effective solution that improves mobile signal strength across major network operators, enabling better customer engagement and smoother operational processes.

Today’s South African retailers rely heavily on mobile connectivity to facilitate cashless transactions, manage QR code-based promotions, enable in-store kiosks, and provide seamless access to consumer credit options for big-ticket items like electronics and furniture. Connectivity is crucial for delivering OTPs (one-time passcodes) for secure customer authentication and credit processing, ensuring that consumers can complete high-value purchases easily and securely.

While many South African retailers have implemented guest Wi-Fi, security and convenience issues often deter customers from signing up, as network authentication often requires an OTP they cannot receive until they are connected. Additionally, mobile networks provide a level of security and reliability that Wi-Fi networks simply cannot match, often leaving customers without a strong connection—and ultimately reducing their engagement and spending.

Many store managers in South Africa are not fully aware of the impact poor mobile coverage can have on customer experience and profitability. Today’s consumers expect seamless mobile service, and inadequate coverage affects their in-store experience, ultimately impacting sales and business outcomes.

– Tobie van Schalkwyk, Business Unit Manager, Duxbury Networking

The CEL-FI GO G43 is available through Duxbury Networking’s extensive network of approved distributors and channel partners throughout South Africa. It features Nextivity’s world-renowned IntelliBoost chipset, ensuring enhanced signal reliability across all major local networks without interference or disruptions, meeting ICASA’s strict requirements for mobile repeaters in South Africa.
