Microsoft Kenya launched the AI Skilling Initiative, empowering students and professionals with essential AI knowledge and tools, fostering inclusivity and shaping Africa’s AI-driven future workforce.
Malcolm Kijirah, the Government Affairs Manager (Kenya) at Microsoft announced on his LinkedIn that Microsoft in Kenya has officially launched the AI Skilling Initiative.
The AI skilling initiative aims to equip everyone, from students to professionals with the knowledge and tools to excel in the AI-driven world.
A huge congratulations goes to Winnie Karanu (AI National Skills Initiative Director, Kenya-Microsoft) who worked tirelessly to set up this initiative locally and delivered an inspirational keynote which set the tone for the launch – a future where AI isn’t just a tool for the few, but an opportunity for everyone.
