Telkom SA posted strong H1 FY2024 growth, driven by mobile, fiber, and IT demand, while advancing strategic goals amid inflation, loadshedding, and challenging market conditions.

Telkom SA posted solid earnings for the six months ending 30 September 2023, despite inflation, high interest rates, and loadshedding. Growth was driven by strong mobile service revenue, sustained fiber expansion, and increased enterprise IT demand.

The company advanced its Value Unlock program, focusing on the sale of its masts and towers and positioning Telkom InfraCo as a leading infrastructure player. Leadership changes aim to enhance capital efficiency and drive returns.

Despite economic pressures, Telkom maintained its FY2024 guidance, expecting low to mid-single-digit revenue and EBITDA growth while managing capital prudently and investing in energy solutions to navigate operational challenges.
