New Africa Technology partners with Mastercard to introduce versatile prepaid cards linked to Flash Wallet, revolutionizing payments and advancing financial inclusion in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, and Benin.

New Africa Technology (NAT), a fintech company based in Senegal, joins forces with Mastercard to introduce a virtual and physical prepaid card for individuals through NAT’s existing digital wallet solution, ‘’Flash’’. This collaboration aims to transform the payment landscape in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, and Benin.

The solution is also designed to support merchants by driving payment acceptance through advanced technologies such as QR Pay, Pay by Link and contactless payments. Additionally, it offers businesses a dedicated platform called ‘Flash in Business’, which provides them a comprehensive solution for corporate financial needs.

We are excited to collaborate with Mastercard to launch this pioneering fintech card that provides users with advanced payment solutions that are secure, versatile, and inclusive. This collaboration represents a major step forward in making financial services more accessible across the region.

– Birane N’dour, CEO, New Africa Technology

This alliance highlights our dedication to advancing financial inclusion and economic development in the region. This collaboration with New Africa Technology leverages our global network and their local expertise to expand the financial well-being of individuals and drive growth for local businesses and the broader economy.

– Mark Elliott, Division President for Africa, Mastercard

The Flash wallet enables seamless transactions and comes equipped with both virtual and physical prepaid cards for payments. It also embeds functions such as invoice split between several individuals, expense management, and budgeting support. The app is also compatible with other wallets within the region, allowing users to transact seamlessly.
