Namibia’s communications regulator ordered Starlink to stop operations for lacking a license, despite its pending application, emphasizing regulatory compliance in the country's telecom sector.

Reuters  has reported that the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia has issued a cease-and-desist order to Starlink, Elon Musk’s satellite internet provider, for operating without a license.

While Starlink has applied for a telecommunications service license, the regulator has yet to approve it, as the application remains under review.
The move reportedly highlights Namibia’s adherence to regulatory compliance in its telecommunications sector.
