Karl Holmes Joins Disney+ as SVP for EMEA Operations
Karl Holmes, former Sky executive, joins Disney+ as SVP and GM for EMEA, overseeing operations and strategic initiatives under Jan Koeppen and Joe Earley.
Karl Holmes, a seasoned executive from Sky, has been appointed to a pivotal leadership role at Disney+, according to a report by Variety . Holmes will serve as Senior Vice President for Direct-to-Consumer and General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
In his new role, Holmes will oversee Disney+ operations across the EMEA region reportedly guiding strategic initiatives and regional teams.
Holmes will report directly to Jan Koeppen, Walt Disney’s EMEA president, and Joe Earley, president of Direct-to-Consumer at Disney Entertainment
