Smart Africa and the European Commission signed an Administrative Arrangement, marking a significant milestone in their collaboration to drive digital innovation and transformation across Africa.
The signing of the Agreement on eGovernment initiatives took place in the presence of over 50 African ambassadors, EU commissioners, private sector leaders, and officials from Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, D4D, and regional delegates.
This landmark agreement, signed by CEO Lacina Koné, Mr. Koen DOENS, Director General of INTPA, and Ms. Renate Renate Nikolay, Deputy Director General of CONNECT, solidifies a shared commitment to fostering innovation and inclusive digital growth.
