Charles Odii, the Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), has highlighted the low uptake of a N615 million fund allocated to support small business owners, Nasimsng has reported.

Speaking at the Mentor Matchup Challenge (MMC) 6.0 in Lagos, Odii underscored the importance of maximizing such financial opportunities. The event, themed “Building Resilient Industries,” gathered African entrepreneurs and industry experts to discuss pathways for resilience, funding, and growth in key sectors, including agribusiness, manufacturing, energy, trade, and fashion.
