Togo's government launches Open Data and Geoportail platforms, offering public and geospatial data on health, agriculture, education, and infrastructure.

The Togolese government has unveiled two innovative platforms—Open Data and Geoportail Open Data—to enhance access to public and geospatial data.

The Open Data platform provides insights into key sectors, including health, agriculture, and education. The health section features data on health indicators and global challenges, while the agriculture category addresses rural development and food security. Education data highlights human development and other critical indicators.

Meanwhile, the Geoportail Open Data platform offers geospatial data on the nation’s social and economic infrastructure. This dataset, initially collected in 2022 and regularly updated by various government entities, enables users to view spatial information, explore development indicators, and download relevant data for research and planning.
