Old Mutual is finalizing regulatory approvals to launch its digital-first bank, expanding beyond life insurance services.

Old Mutual, South Africa’s second-largest life insurer, is set to launch its digital-first bank in March. The company is currently in the final stages of regulatory approval, Semafor  has reported.

Potentially, this move marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to expand its footprint in the rapidly growing digital banking sector.
