Egypt and Kenya strengthen space cooperation, focusing on satellite technology, localization, and capacity building to advance Africa’s space agenda.
In a move that strengthens African collaboration in the space sector, Professor Dr. Sherif Sedky, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, received a high-level delegation headed by Brigadier Hilary Kipkosgei, CEO of the Kenya Space Agency, during an official visit aimed at enhancing the strategic partnership between the two countries and advancing Africa’s space agenda to new horizons.
The visit began with a bilateral meeting in the VIP hall at the Egyptian Space Agency headquarters, attended by senior management officials. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of satellite technology, technology localization, and human capacity building. During the meeting, Dr. Sedky emphasized that
