Vodacom Tanzania and ZICTIA partner to enhance Zanzibar’s internet, leveraging government fiber for faster, reliable connectivity to drive digital transformation.

Vodacom Tanzania has teamed up with ZANZIBAR COMMUNICATION CORPORATION (ZICTIA) to improve internet connectivity across the Isles. This partnership allows us to tap into the government-owned fiber optic infrastructure and submarine cable services, providing faster and more reliable internet with a whopping 10GB capacity.

This milestone goes beyond ensuring faster internet speed, it’s about driving digital transformation in Zanzibar. It is all set to empower local businesses, enhance e-government services, support e-learning initiatives, and more.
