SMART Zambia’s ICT unit trained 150 youth in Choma on accessing government services via ZamPortal, promoting digital literacy and inclusion.

The SMART Zambia Southern Province ICT unit hosted a Youth Workshop on the Government Service Bus (GSB) at St. Mawagari Trade School in Choma District.
The workshop aimed to equip young people with the knowledge to register and access government services through the ZamPortal, among other digital tools.
Principal ICT Officer Ms. Joyce Mushiko highlighted that the training, held on Wednesday, 5th March 2025, attracted 150 youth participants gaining essential digital literacy skills.
This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to bridge the digital divide and empower the next generation with the tools needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
