YOA Cable expands its North Coast operations with a R160-million fibre optic factory, reinforcing South Africa’s digital infrastructure and connectivity ambitions.

Multiple reports have confirmed that Yangtze Optics Africa Cable (YOA) has expanded its North Coast operations with a R160-million fibre optic cable factory at Dube TradePort.

YOA Cable is Africa’s largest optical fibre manufacturer. Through its ZAR 300+ million investment in intelligent optical fibre manufacturing technologies, YOA Cable is committed to playing a pivotal role in South Africa’s interconnected digital future.
