Cybersecurity and Innovation on the Agenda as Ghana and Turkey Explore Collaboration
Ghana and Turkey explored cybersecurity and digital partnerships as the Turkish Ambassador met Ghana’s Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation.
The Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Huseyin Gungor, congratulated the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Hon. Sam Nartey George (MP), on his appointment and explored potential areas of collaboration between Ghana and Turkey. The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral ties and identify mutual benefits.
The Minister mentioned potential areas of collaboration between Ghana and Turkey, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity, education among others.
The Minister highlighted the National IT Agency (NITA) and the Cyber Security Authority as key agencies for potential collaboration.
He emphasized the importance of navigating the current economic climate while exploring opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
Present at the meeting were Mr Talha Tol, Commercial Counselor from the Turkish Embassy; Mr Bugra Anildi from Dogus Group; Mr Arif Kaytaz from Dogus Group; Mr Emmanuel Kwashie Agbodzi from 10G Globaltech.
