Evolution of MwareTV’s Offerings
Reflecting on last year’s progress, Blommestein highlighted the evolution of MwareTV’s offerings. “We started in our TV management system, which is our backend system, with a new module called the no-code app builder,” he explained. This feature, he noted, allows operators to create their own user interface effortlessly. “You don’t need to have technical knowledge; you don’t need to have programming knowledge. You can really start building your own white-label solution, with logo, with colors, buttons, everything you want to have.”
AI-Driven Enhancements for Operators
With AI being the dominant theme of the year, MwareTV has integrated AI-driven enhancements into its platform. Blommestein introduced the AI Assistant, designed to help operators navigate the system seamlessly.
“In our TV management system, there is a link with a huge manual. What we did is we created that AI assistant that helps you to understand our system, how it works,” he stated. This feature provides instant explanations and links to relevant sections of the manual, simplifying operations for users.
Building on this, MwareTV developed the AI Navigator, which extends beyond the manual to offer insights from the database. “If you want to know, as an operator, how many people have been watching this movie yesterday in a particular area in Frankfurt or in Barcelona, you get an answer from that AI navigator,” Blommestein revealed. This functionality assists operators in making data-driven decisions, such as optimizing content placement and managing licensing costs.
The company has also introduced the AI Agent, a tool designed to enhance the no-code app builder. Another significant AI-driven innovation is the Professor, which identifies trends and provides strategic recommendations. This feature aims to reduce engineering costs, enhance interactivity with subscribers, and lower churn rates.
For end users, AI integration brings enhanced content discovery. This personalization enhances user engagement while helping operators improve service delivery.
Scalability and Peak Demand Management
Discussing scalability, Blommestein emphasized the importance of efficiency in handling peak demand. “Everybody knows what we call the six-hour event. You come home and you turn on the TV and you log in into the TV. And then the problem starts with some operators because you get so many requests per second that will give you a problem,” he said. To address this, MwareTV has developed a highly scalable solution, capable of managing one million logins per second, ensuring seamless user experiences.
“We built a highly scalable tool, capable of handling up to one million login attempts per second. Scalability is crucial, especially for major operators, so last quarter, we focused on enhancing it. We have built a future-proof system, I believe so.”

Commitment to Innovation and Efficiency
Concluding the conversation, Blommestein reiterated the company’s commitment to innovation and efficiency. “With our tool, you can save engineering costs. So you already have that. So the cost structure of an operator will go down,” he emphasized. By leveraging AI, MwareTV aims to provide both operators and subscribers with a more interactive, cost-effective, and scalable experience.
