Bridging the Digital Divide: ITU and Partners Tackle Connectivity Gaps

The ITU, Universal Service Provision Fund, and FCDO hosted a workshop uniting 90+ stakeholders to enhance connectivity in underserved communities.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in collaboration with the Universal Service Provision Fund and supported by FCDO Digital Development, hosted a workshop on March 13 focused on expanding connectivity in unserved and underserved communities.

The event brought together over 90 stakeholders, including government representatives, mobile network operators (MNOs), internet service providers (ISPs), equipment manufacturers, and access network providers, to discuss strategies for bridging the digital divide.
