DStv Expands Family, Access & EasyView Packages with New Channels!
DStv Compact adds five new channels, enhances streaming benefits, and offers Showmax discounts, expanding entertainment options for subscribers from April 2025.
Five new channels are coming to DStv Compact from 1 April 2025, bringing more local and international entertainment to customers.
DStv Compact customers also benefit from access to a second stream on the DStv Stream app, allowing them to stream on two devices concurrently, including smart TVs.
Customers will also enjoy a 40% discount on Showmax, providing affordable access to a huge library of movies, series and other content on-demand.
Heading the lineup of new channels is:
- SuperSport Action Channel 210
Home to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) content such as UFC and EFC, SuperSport Action also includes international and local boxing, WWE, Adrenaline Sports as well as UCI Cycling.
- Africa Magic Showcase Channel 151
Featuring super drama, romance, action and adventure from Nollywood, Africa Magic Showcase delivers authentic African content.
- CBS Justice Channel 170
The TV destination for compelling true-crime documentaries and series, CBS Justice delves deep into the facts to uncover the truth.
- Curiosity Channel Channel 185
Featuring true factual entertainment in one mind-expanding destination, titles include Planet Insects, Cities of Tomorrow, Myths & Monsters, Ancient Engineering, and Titans: The Rise of Wall Street.
- History Channel Channel 186
The leading destination for factual series and specials that wrap historical knowledge in entertainment, its programming slate features a roster of signature series.
DStv has confirmed that it will again offer discounted rates to decoder customers who want to lock in their price by paying in advance for 24 months.
In addition to the Compact channel updates, from 1 April, DStv Family, DStv Access, and DStv EasyView customers will also enjoy extra channels.
