Ghana Moves Forward: Key Documents Submitted for Innovation and Startup Bill
Stakeholders presented key documents to Ghana’s Digital Minister, marking a major step in finalizing the Ghana Innovation and Startup Bill’s framework.

The startup and innovation ecosystem actors have presented key documents to the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP), as part of ongoing efforts to consolidate the development of the Ghana Innovation and Startup Bill.
The documents submitted include the Workplan of Activities and the Roadmap for Drafting the Legal Instrument, which outline strategic steps towards finalizing the bill.
This engagement follows an earlier meeting held with the Minister last week, where stakeholders deliberated on the importance of a structured framework to support Ghana’s innovation and entrepreneurial landscape.
The Ghana Innovation and Startup Bill aims to create an enabling legal and regulatory environment that fosters the growth of startups and innovation-driven enterprises.
The submission of these documents marks a significant milestone in advancing the policy framework that will enhance opportunities for startups, strengthen innovation ecosystems, and promote digital entrepreneurship in Ghana.
The Minister commended the stakeholders for their commitment to shaping a progressive and inclusive innovation policy.
