Ericsson Showcases 5G & AI Innovation at Safaricom Decode 3.0

Ericsson showcased AI, 5G, and sustainability at Safaricom Decode 3.0, emphasizing digital inclusion, monetization, and future-proofing Africa’s connectivity landscape.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven automation was highlighted through thought leadership, valuable collaboration and elaborate discussions at its booth.

Exhibiting its latest solutions that can drive Africa’s connectivity, digital inclusion, and sustainable growth, Ericsson  hosted an immersive session and presented an immersive sports fan engagement demo to showcase the business value and monetization opportunities of 5G network slicing and network exposure.

Ericsson engaged in several panel discussions on shaping the future of connectivity through innovative approaches and technologies. The panel discussions emphasized the pivotal role of APIs in shaping next-generation network architectures, highlighting their importance in programmable connectivity. Another panel discussion focused on future-proofing connectivity by integrating next-gen technologies to provide a unified connectivity experience, and while in another panel discussion, Ericsson delved into the potential of renewable energy as a catalyst for building resilient infrastructure, contributing to smart connectivity.
