Namibia Takes a Major Step with N$20 Million Investment in Cybersecurity

Namibia invests N$20 million in NAM-CSIRT to enhance national cybersecurity, with CEO Mrs. Emilia Nghikembua emphasizing collaboration in defense.

The Government of Namibia has committed N$20 million in seed funding to establish NAM-CSIRT, a key step in strengthening the nation’s cybersecurity framework.

At the inaugural NAM-CSIRT Stakeholder Engagement in Windhoek, CEO Mrs. Emilia Nghikembua highlighted the vital role of collaboration in safeguarding Namibia’s critical infrastructure and protecting citizens from emerging cyber threats.
