April 4, 2025

Author: Aayushya Ranjan

MTN will increase out-of-bundle charges for calls, data, and SMS to counter rising operational costs and maintain network quality.

MTN is set to adjust its out-of-bundle charges for calls, internet use, and messaging without active bundles.

The rate changes come as the company navigates increasing operational expenses and broader economic pressures.

To answer the question about why is MTN increasing the Out of Bundle rates, MTN published the following:

MTN is committed to providing superior network and value-driven propositions to ensure customers enjoy the best connectivity. However, macroeconomic factors and rising operational costs continue to challenge the industry. In response to these market changes, MTN is revising its pricing structure to remain competitive and continue to deliver a quality network.
