Starlink Seeks Approval to Launch Services in Lesotho
Starlink Lesotho has applied for a 10-year licence to offer satellite internet; public and industry feedback is now invited.

The Lesotho Communications Authority has announced that it has received an application for Network Services Licence from Starlink Lesotho (Pty) Ltd.
Starlink Lesotho has applied to provide satellite internet services to the public and businesses in Lesotho. The duration of the licence, if approved, will be ten (10) years from date of issuance of the Licence.

The announcement mentioned that, Acting in terms of Section 4 (j) of the Communications Act No. 4 of 2012, the Authority hereby invites comments from the general public and industry stakeholders in respect of the above-mentioned application. Interested parties are invited to submit their comments in writing, clearly indicating their support or objection to the application, and providing reasons in support of their position. Submissions should include name and contact details of the person or organization submitting the comment.
