EG-ATRC, ITU Academy Host Global Spectrum Monitoring Training
EG-ATRC and ITU Academy hosted a training on frequency spectrum monitoring, engaging 28 global experts to enhance telecom regulation skills.

The African Egyptian Centre for Telecommunication Regulation (EG-ATRC), of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Agency, held a online online online training course titled “Frequency Spectrum Monitoring Techniques and Methods” from 6-10 April with the participation of about 28 experts and specialists from all over the world.
The training course covered many topics related to the frequency spectrum as the foundations of monitoring and analysis of the frequency spectrum, wireless monitoring to ensure optimal use of the spectrum, identifying the causes of interferences, and electromagnetic field measurements, and also advanced to the foundations and rules of the frequency spectrum monitoring of the IAF.
This course represents the first cooperation between the African Egyptian Center for Telecommunication Organization Training and ITU Academy, which strengthens the position of the Center regionally, and its role in supporting and developing human competencies in the field of communications and information technology, where the ICC approved the African Egyptian Center of Telecommunication Organization Telecommunication center for international training accredited by the Federation Training Academy.
