21 NTI instructors earned global certification from Tejas Networks, marking a major step in Egypt-India telecom cooperation and skills development.

21 Instructors from the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI)  Receive International Certification as Trainers on Tejas Networks Technologies

As part of strengthening Egypt–India cooperation in the field of telecommunications and under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, 21 instructors from the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) have been internationally certified after successfully completing the “Train the Trainers” (ToT) program provided by Tejas Networks – a global Indian leader in networking technologies.

The program included specialized training on the latest global technologies in networking and optical fiber services, contributing to knowledge transfer and the development of highly qualified technical cadres aligned with top international standards.

On this occasion, Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of NTI, stated that this achievement reflects the fruitful collaboration with Tejas Networks, which is preparing to launch the first Tejas Academy in Egypt, located within NTI. This will mark the first international academy of its kind for Tejas Networks in Egypt, joining a network of 12 international academies currently hosted by NTI. These academies offer world-class training programs across various domains of ICT to empower youth and equip them for the rapidly evolving job market.

Dr. Khattab added that the upcoming academy will be responsible for training and certifying Egyptian engineers internationally in networking and fiber optics, as well as providing full technical support in these critical areas. The academy is expected to enhance employment opportunities and foster a new generation of skilled professionals capable of delivering installation, maintenance, and technical support services in the telecom sector.

NTI is recognized as a national center of excellence in telecommunications and ICT, specializing in training, research, and consultancy services, and plays a pivotal role in implementing the Ministry’s strategy for digital capacity building.

Tejas Networks is a globally recognized Indian company specializing in optical networking and telecommunications technologies. Through strategic partnerships with educational and training institutions, the company aims to empower engineers with cutting-edge technical knowledge and provide specialized support in this vital sector.
