du partners with Microsoft in a AED 2 billion deal to build a hyperscale data center, boosting regional cloud capabilities.

The Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du ) has announced a major hyperscale data center deal worth AED 2 billion (approximately $544.5 million) with Microsoft, Reuters  has reported.

The report stated that under the agreement, Microsoft will serve as the primary tenant of the new facility, which will be built and operated in phases.

The data center is expected to significantly enhance cloud and digital infrastructure capabilities in the region.
