Ethio Telecom and Siinqee Bank to Launch New Digital Financial Services

Ethio Telecom  and Siinqee Bank  have held strategic discussions which are aimed at the expansion of digital financial services.

Ethio telecom CEO, Frehiwot Tamru, and Siinqee Bank President, Neway Megersa, along with senior officials from both institutions, held a strategic discussion aimed at expanding inclusive and accessible digital financial services offered by the two organizations.

Ethio Telecom’s CEO stated that Ethio telecom, through partnerships with financial institutions, is playing its part in sustainable national development by enabling citizens to benefit from digital financial services, thereby ensuring inclusive economic participation.

She added that preparations have been completed to offer, in partnership with Siinqee Bank, new financial services that will bring meaningful change to the lives of our community and accelerate the building of an inclusive digital economy.

Siinqee Bank President, on his part, stated that his bank is undergoing rapid transformation by implementing a comprehensive digital transformation in a short period. He emphasized that strengthening the partnership with Ethio telecom creates an enabling platform to quickly ensure the community benefits.

He also commended the rapid changes Ethio telecom has implemented in recent years, particularly within the digital finance ecosystem, emphasizing that its leadership serves as a positive role model and encouragement for Siinqee bank.
