The results highlight stc’s ability to maintain growth momentum despite a 2.8% dip in subscribers, showcasing effective monetization strategies and operational resilience.

Kuwait Telecommunications Company (stc) delivered a strong start to 2025, reporting a 5.5% year-on-year increase in revenue to KD 87.4 million, and a 2.8% rise in net profit to KD 9.1 million. The results highlight stc’s ability to maintain growth momentum despite a 2.8% dip in subscribers, showcasing effective monetization strategies and operational resilience.

Consumer services remained the backbone of revenue, contributing 78.3%, while enterprise services — bolstered by expanded ICT offerings — accounted for 21.7%, signaling growing diversification. However, profitability margins showed slight pressure, with EBITDA margin easing to 25.5% and net profit margin at 10.4%.

Strategically, stc strengthened its position by enhancing its 5G infrastructure and securing key compliance and governance awards, reinforcing investor confidence. Recognition as one of the top three strongest telecom brands globally by Brand Finance further reflects the success of its digital-first growth strategy.

With total assets up 2.8% to KD 480.2 million, stc enters the next quarter with a strong financial base. Yet, tighter margin management and deeper enterprise expansion will be critical as competition intensifies.

stc’s Q1 2025 results confirm a company balancing growth and investment — and setting the tone for another year of digital leadership.
