Canal+ Q1 Revenue Rises 1.5% Despite Dip in Africa and Europe
Canal+ posts 1.5% Q1 revenue growth, fueled by European subscribers, while Africa and Europe see a post-AFCON revenue dip.

Canal+, the French pay-TV broadcaster, reported a 1.5% rise in organic group revenue for the first quarter, Reuters has reported.
According to the report, the increase was driven by a strong performance from its direct-to-consumer subscriber base in Europe. However, the company noted a 2.3% decline in organic revenue across Africa and Europe.
Canal+ attributed the regional revenue drop to the exceptional popularity of the African Cup of Nations held the previous year, which had provided a temporary boost to viewership and subscriptions.
