Airtel Africa Partners with SpaceX to Expand Satellite Internet Access

Airtel Africa  has announced thw partnership with SpaceX  to support the advancement of next-generation satellite connectivity across Africa. This collaboration is designed to augment high-speed connectivity for enterprises, businesses, and underserved socio-economic communities.

Currently, Space X has acquired requisite licenses in Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Niger, Madagascar, DRC and Chad, with licensing processes underway in five additional countries within our footprint.

Next-generation satellite connectivity will ensure that every individual, business, and community have reliable and affordable voice and data connectivity even in the most remote and currently under-served parts of Africa.
