Starlink Secures License to Operate in DRC
Starlink has received official authorization to operate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as an internet service provider, starting soon.
Following the press release dated March 15, 2025, the Regulatory Authority for Post and Telecommunications of Congo (ARPTC ) informs the public that a telecommunications network and service license has been granted to the Congolese company Starlink DRC S.A., in accordance with current telecommunications and ICT regulations.
Starlink is now officially authorized to operate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as an Internet service provider, following the regularization of its administrative status. The official launch of its services will take place in the coming days.
