Enghouse’s SmartGuard solution employs AI in two complementary ways: pattern recognition and adaptive learning based on historical operator data. “With AI and machine learning, we are always one step ahead of fraudsters and spammers,” Fadel emphasized. Unlike traditional rule-based firewalls that may block legitimate messages due to keyword matching, their system analyzes message context and traffic behavior to minimize false positives, enhancing user experience while maintaining robust security.

Fadel explained that their AI system builds a “conceptual behavioral pattern” by learning from operator-specific data, allowing it to distinguish malicious activity without disrupting legitimate communications.
