Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani Highlights Data Protection at NADPA-RAPDP Conference

Honourable Minister Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani joined key stakeholders at the 8th Edition of the NADPA-RAPDP Conference, organized by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) . The event, themed “Balancing Innovation in Africa: Data Protection and Privacy in Emerging Technologies,” served as a platform for discussions on data governance, emerging technologies, and innovation across the continent.

In his remarks, Dr. Tijani emphasized the importance of strong data protection frameworks that support innovation while ensuring individual rights are safeguarded. He reiterated Nigeria’s commitment to a secure digital economy built on trust, accountability, and global best practices.

The conference highlighted the need for a balanced approach to data protection, ensuring that Africa’s rapid digital transformation is secure and sustainable.
