Ghana’s NCA invites public input on revised telecom and broadcasting fees, ensuring transparency and stakeholder participation until June 20, 2025.

The National Communications Authority (NCA ) is reviewing its current Schedule of Fees and Charges in accordance with Section 3 of the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2022 (Act 1080).

In view of this and in line with our mandate under Section 27 of the Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775) and Section 4.1 of the National Telecommunications Policy 2005 (NTP’05), the NCA invites views and comments from Licensed Service Providers, Broadcasters, consumers of Information and Communication Technology services, and the general public regarding the revised Schedule of Fees and Charges.

The public consultation runs from 9th May, 2025 to 20th June, 2025. Interested parties may access the consultation document via the link below.

Kindly submit all responses and comments as email attachments in Microsoft Word format to sofac@nca.org.gh. All submissions must include a completed response cover sheet which is available on Page iii of the consultation document.

In the interest of transparency, all responses will be considered non-confidential and will be published on the NCA website upon receipt. By submitting your response, you grant the Authority the right to use the copyright and any associated intellectual property contained in your submission to meet its legal obligations.

The NCA will finalise the revised Schedule of Fees and Charges and forward same to the Minister for Finance in accordance with Section 3 of the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2022 (Act 1080).
