Patrick Dlamini Appointed CEO of Public Investment Corporation
Patrick Dlamini, former DBSA CEO, appointed as PIC CEO, bringing decades of leadership experience to drive strategic growth and sustainability.

The Public Investment Corporation (PIC) has announced the appointment of Mr. Patrick Dlamini as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 June 2025.
Following a rigorous global search, Mr. Dlamini’s appointment was confirmed by Cabinet on 14 May 2025. A seasoned leader with nearly 30 years of senior management experience, Mr. Dlamini is best known for his decade-long tenure as CEO of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), where he spearheaded strategic turnarounds and championed sustainable growth.
Mr. Dlamini’s track record of ethical leadership and operational excellence makes him ideally suited to lead the PIC into its next chapter. His experience in development finance and investment management will be critical in addressing key priorities, including the optimisation of the unlisted investment portfolio.
