Federal Ministry Releases Blueprint for Blockchain Adoption in Nigeria

Nigeria releases a National Blockchain Policy Whitepaper aiming to foster innovation, trust, and inclusive development through a structured adoption framework.

The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy  has published a Whitepaper outlining its plans for a comprehensive National Blockchain Policy. Aimed at fostering structured and inclusive blockchain adoption, the policy is designed to be both technically sound and locally relevant.

The document emphasizes collaboration, public trust, and broad-based support to ensure the policy reflects Nigeria’s unique socio-economic context. The initiative seeks to drive innovation and deliver practical, real-world blockchain solutions that contribute to national development.
