Ericsson’s training program upskills Omani educators in AI, robotics, and coding to empower youth and support Oman Vision 2040.

Ericsson , in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research & Innovation (MoHERI) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF), has concluded its Train the Trainer program in the Sultanate of Oman, bringing global expertise to support local talent development.

Held from 18–22 May 2025 at Oman’s Center of Excellence (CoE) for Advanced Telecommunications Technology and the Internet of Things (IoT), the program equipped skilled Omani instructors with hands-on training in robotics, artificial intelligence, electronics, coding, and game development. Led by Ericsson global experts, these trainers will soon guide Omani youth as part of the broader Digital Lab Program under Ericsson’s Connect to Learn  initiative.

Designed to introduce young minds to the world of programming and emerging technologies, the initiative supports Oman Vision 2040 by building local capacity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and digital innovation.

This milestone marks a significant step in Ericsson’s ongoing commitment to upskilling communities and fostering inclusive access to future technology careers in the Sultanate of Oman.
