MTN Uganda partners with government to accelerate digital transformation, focusing on inclusion, transparency, and innovation under the National Digital Roadmap.

MTN Mobile Money Uganda Limited , in collaboration with MTN Uganda and the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance , hosted the MTN ICT Government Round Table at Sheraton Kampala Hotel to advance the National Digital Transformation Roadmap (2023/2024–2027/2028).

The event brought together senior government officials, ICT leaders, and MTN executives to align on accelerating digital solutions.

Public-Private collaboration isn’t optional, it’s essential. We are co-creating digital solutions with ministries and agencies. The work is already underway, from digitized school fees to smart agriculture payments and integrated e-government services.

– Richard Yego, CEO, MTN Mobile Money Uganda Limited

We’re working on how to support financial inclusion. We want to make it easier to collect payments and just as easy to track how that money flows, so everything becomes more efficient and more transparent.

– Mulinge Sylvia M.B.S, CEO, MTN Uganda

We are not just a telco. We are now a full technology partner, shaping solutions that power institutions, connect systems, and unlock potential across every sector.

– Ibrahim Senyonga, General Manager for Enterprise Business Unit, MTN Uganda

The Round Table underscored MTN’s commitment to supporting Uganda’s digital future through innovation and partnership.
