The new route provides a faster, more secure, and resilient alternative to traditional subsea cables, offering higher capacity and lower latency for hyperscalers, telecom operators, and global enterprises.

Zain Omantel International (ZOI) , Horizon Scope Telecom , and Iraq’s ITPC  have announced a strategic partnership to establish a new terrestrial corridor connecting the Middle East to Europe via Iraq, Turkey, and Germany.

The new route provides a faster, more secure, and resilient alternative to traditional subsea cables, offering higher capacity and lower latency for hyperscalers, telecom operators, and global enterprises. Positioned as a key digital bridge, Iraq is playing an increasingly critical role as a connectivity gateway between continents.

This initiative marks a major step toward redefining the future of global digital infrastructure.
