iXAfrica has announced the appointment of Amit Singh as its new Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), bringing over two decades of global experience in scaling enterprise partnerships, hyperscale engagements, and market expansion in the technology and infrastructure sectors.
Singh joins the company with a proven track record in identifying untapped opportunities, unlocking strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across diverse markets. In his new role, he will be instrumental in deepening iXAfrica’s relationships with hyperscalers, enterprise businesses, telecom operators, cloud providers, and governments. His leadership is expected to shape the enterprise ecosystem and strengthen iXAfrica’s position as a trusted digital gateway into East Africa and beyond.

With more than 26 years of experience, Singh has held senior roles at Airtel , Reliance Communications , and Tata Teleservices. He has also served in key leadership positions at Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited , Zenlayer India , and CtrlS Datacenters. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President – Edge & Network Business at CtrlS India and previously Managing Director at Zenlayer, where he was instrumental in expanding the business across the IMEA region.
