This collaboration is focused on supporting Zambia’s economic progress in a way that is both strong and sustainable, particularly as the nation navigates opportunities and challenges in its digital and financial sectors.

Airtel Zambia PLC  has partnered with Impact Capital Africa Zambia  and Airtel Money Mobile Commerce to champion the growth of small businesses across the country. This collaboration is focused on supporting Zambia’s economic progress in a way that is both strong and sustainable, particularly as the nation navigates opportunities and challenges in its digital and financial sectors.

Mr. Andrew Chuma, Director of Airtel Money Mobile Commerce, emphasized the rising demand for digital payments in Zambia, noting the significant potential for merchant expansion and system integration. He highlighted the role of Airtel Money’s open APIs, which support USSD, QR code, Web/APP, and other forms of online payments.

At Airtel Money, the vision is to foster financial inclusion and advance the government’s economic agenda by promoting digital payment solutions. Chuma invited potential partners to collaborate in unlocking new opportunities, driving innovation, and shaping the future of digital financial services across all sectors in Zambia.

The conference also featured a broad lineup of speakers from various industries, offering valuable insights into development, partnerships, and growth strategies for SMEs in the financial sector.
