June 4, 2025
1 min read

This strategic alignment underscores both organizations’ shared vision of bridging Nigeria’s digital divide and advancing nationwide digital inclusion.

Tizeti , a leading solar-powered internet service provider, is in early discussions with Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT)  to explore potential partnership opportunities aimed at expanding affordable internet access across Nigeria using satellite broadband.

In a recent meeting, Tizeti’s Chief Marketing Officer, Temitope Osunrinde, engaged with NIGCOMSAT’s Managing Director/CEO, Jane Egerton-Idehen, alongside Ibiye Ukoko, Head of Sales, and Funke Fagbeja, Head of Marketing. The two teams discussed the potential to combine Tizeti’s innovative solar-powered broadband infrastructure with NIGCOMSAT’s satellite capabilities to reach even the most remote and underserved communities in Nigeria.

This strategic alignment underscores both organizations’ shared vision of bridging Nigeria’s digital divide and advancing nationwide digital inclusion. If successful, the collaboration could significantly enhance connectivity across rural areas, marking a pivotal step toward inclusive internet access and technological empowerment for all Nigerians.
