The Kenyan government is steadfast in its commitment to providing countrywide internet connectivity to all public sector facilities. This initiative aims to significantly expand the nation’s digital footprint and ensure enhanced service delivery for its citizens.

In a move underscoring this commitment, the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, made an impromptu visit this evening to the Coast Regional Police Commander, Mr. Ali Nuno Dubat. Their discussions focused on strategies to bolster internet connectivity specifically within the Coast Region.

The primary objective of improving internet access in this region is to facilitate optimal security services, demonstrating the government’s recognition of digital infrastructure as a critical component of public safety and efficient governance. This push for widespread connectivity is a key part of Kenya’s broader digital transformation agenda.
