Airtel Uganda and Cisco Launch Network as a Service (NaaS) to Power Business Growth and Digital Transformation
The launch of Airtel Network as a Service marks a significant step in Uganda’s journey toward digital transformation and strengthens Airtel Business’s position as a technology partner of choice for African enterprises.

Airtel Uganda, through its enterprise division Airtel Business, has launched Airtel Network as a Service (NaaS), a cutting-edge digital solution powered by global technology leader Cisco. The service is designed to support businesses of all sizes across Uganda in scaling securely and efficiently, while accelerating digital transformation.
The official launch event, held at Serena Hotel in Kampala, gathered key figures from Uganda’s tech, business, and enterprise ecosystem.
Delivering the keynote address, Rajesh Agrawal, Networks Director, described the new offering as a transformational leap for enterprises at all stages of development.

A panel discussion followed the launch, moderated by David Birungi, Airtel Uganda’s PR Manager. Panelists included Shobhit Agarwal, Javed Johar (Networks Architecture), Lameck Ochola (Airtel Africa Group), and Andrew Katwere Semwezi (Senior Data Center & Networks Engineer, Absa Bank Uganda), who shared diverse insights on the impact of NaaS on digital transformation.
