Airtel Uganda Boosts Pension Fund with UGX 50.31 billion Dividend Payout

Airtel Uganda  has announced the payment of UGX 50.31 billion in dividends to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF ) Uganda, celebrating what it described as a proud milestone in its partnership with the country’s leading retirement savings institution.

The payout stems from NSSF’s strategic investment in Airtel Uganda and signals confidence in the telecom’s financial performance and commitment to value creation.

Beyond financial returns, Airtel emphasized the significance of this dividend as a symbol of shared prosperity, trust in local markets, and a commitment to responsible investment. This announcement reinforces the growing role of telecom investments in supporting Uganda’s economic and social development, particularly through partnerships that connect capital to long-term impact.
