MTN South Sudan has unveiled a new technology hub at the Mangateen Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, marking a major step toward promoting digital inclusion among vulnerable communities. The launch was led by MTN South Sudan CEO, Mapula Bodibe, who, along with a dedicated team, was present on-site to complete the installation.
The tech hub is equipped with internet access, computers, and solar power, providing residents of the IDP camp with the tools needed to engage with the digital world—whether for education, communication, or entrepreneurship.
The initiative is part of MTN’s broader #21DaysOfYelloCare campaign, which focuses on creating sustainable, community-driven impact across its markets. With the campaign drawing to a close, the completion of the Mangateen tech hub highlights MTN South Sudan’s ongoing commitment to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that internally displaced individuals are not left behind in the digital era.
By investing in connectivity and digital infrastructure for underserved populations, MTN South Sudan continues to demonstrate its role as a catalyst for inclusive growth and social empowerment.
