Smart Africa Postpones Transform Africa Summit 2025 to Deepen Impact and Collaboration
A new date for TAS 2025 will be announced in due course. Stakeholders and delegates are encouraged to stay engaged as preparations continue for a reinvigorated Summit that promises to accelerate digital inclusion and economic growth across the continent.
Smart Africa has announced the postponement of the Transform Africa Summit (TAS) 2025 to a later date. The decision, made in close consultation with key partners, is described as a strategic move to enhance the Summit’s value and ensure broader participation across the continent’s digital development ecosystem.
TAS, widely regarded as Africa’s leading platform for high-level policy dialogue and digital cooperation, has historically convened heads of state, industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers under a shared vision: a connected, inclusive, and digitally empowered Africa.
According to Smart Africa, the postponement allows the organisation to deepen engagement with partners, align efforts across the ecosystem, and build a more impactful agenda that supports the continent’s journey toward a Single Digital Market.
“We are seizing unprecedented opportunities to amplify the Summit’s impact and better serve our stakeholders,” Smart Africa noted in its official communication. “This repositioning will strengthen collaboration and unlock greater synergies across Africa’s digital transformation landscape.”
The Alliance expressed gratitude to the Republic of Rwanda, the long-standing host of the Summit, for its continued support and commitment to Smart Africa’s mission.
