Egypt Teams Up with Cyshield to Train Youth in Next-Gen Network Security
The initiative is aimed at preparing graduates for high-demand careers in cybersecurity and telecommunications.

Egypt’s National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has announced the launch of a specialized track in Telecom Network Security under the Digital Egypt Youth – HireReady initiative, aimed at preparing graduates for high-demand careers in cybersecurity and telecommunications.
Developed in collaboration with Cyshield , a leading cybersecurity solutions provider, the four-month training program is designed to equip participants with practical expertise in securing communication networks across multiple generations — from 2G to 5G, including IMS and Open RAN systems.
Participants will receive hands-on instruction in key areas such as networking fundamentals, ethical hacking, Linux, Python, Docker, and threat mitigation techniques specific to modern telecom infrastructures. The program also offers intensive modules on protecting legacy (2G/3G) and next-generation (4G/5G) network environments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of telecom security challenges.
The initiative targets graduates from engineering and computing disciplines within the past five years, providing them with a rare opportunity to enter a rapidly growing and specialized field with strong local and regional market demand.
Applications for the program close on July 4, 2025, with training scheduled to commence on July 19, 2025. With a focus on real-world readiness and professional qualification, the initiative represents a significant step toward developing a robust cybersecurity workforce to support Egypt’s digital transformation agenda.
