Morocco Leverages AI to Revolutionize Workforce Integration and SME Development
This new partnership aims to harness the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance professional integration, support job market analytics, and boost vocational rehabilitation efforts.

Morocco has taken a major step toward modernizing its labor market and supporting enterprise development through artificial intelligence. During the first National Artificial Intelligence Sessions held in Rabat on July 1st and 2nd, the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Economic Inclusion , Small Business, Employment and Skills.
This new partnership aims to harness the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance professional integration, support job market analytics, and boost vocational rehabilitation efforts. The agreement also focuses on providing targeted assistance to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), aligning with Morocco’s long-term vision of building a more inclusive and resilient economy.
Through this collaboration, the government will deploy AI-powered solutions to improve access to employment and re-skilling programs. Innovative digital platforms will be developed to analyze labor market trends and provide real-time insights that inform policy and training initiatives. The program will also include tools and services designed to help MSMEs navigate a competitive digital landscape and scale their operations effectively.
This initiative forms part of a broader national strategy to future-proof Morocco’s economy by embedding digital transformation at the core of workforce and enterprise development. By integrating AI into critical public services and economic programs, the country aims to position itself as a regional leader in responsible and inclusive technological innovation.
