The company is focusing its entry on Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)—a region with over 150 million people experiencing a sharp rise in cyber threats.
Sekur Private Data Ltd. , a leading Swiss-hosted cybersecurity and privacy solutions provider, has announced its strategic expansion into Africa with the appointment of Christophe Kabeya as Director of Government & Corporate Sales for Central and Southern Africa.
The company is focusing its entry on Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)—a region with over 150 million people experiencing a sharp rise in cyber threats. Kabeya’s appointment marks a significant step in Sekur’s broader push to offer secure digital communication and data protection services to African governments and enterprises.
According to the company, full-scale operations are scheduled to begin in September 2025. Sekur is already engaged in high-level talks with government officials, with expectations of securing major revenue within the next 18 months through public sector contracts and telecom distribution partnerships.
Sekur positions this move as part of its mission to become “Africa’s trusted digital shield,” delivering encrypted solutions to meet the region’s growing demand for cybersecurity and digital privacy in both government and business sectors.
